It was in 2002 that Siebren bought an old shabby little farmhouse situated at the Prinses Margrietcanal in the small village of Augustinusga with the intention to establish a new house and a new pigeon loft at that location.

This was the place where he wanted to pick up where he had left of earlier with his old strain which realised stunning performances for many years in a row. The base of this strain consisted of descendants of the 019 from the world famous Janssen brothers of Arendonk, mixed with the best offspring of the breeds available in pigeonsport.


The year 2006 had almost ended when the construction work was finished and Siebren could start his new project: re-establishing his winning loft.
In the meantime he had continued to race his pigeons, although the building of the house absorbed most of his time, and they did considerably well.

 

Noticeable results in the ‘construction-period’ of 2004-2006 where among others: third place in the prestigious Gouden Duif, immediately after big guns as G & S Verkerk and Kees Bosua. In the same period he realised Teletext (among the first ten of a NPO race) six times and the“Golden Angel” classified in the top 10 of best hens of the Netherlands in the competition WHZB. In his combine, rayon de Walden, the following championships were realised;1st ace pigeon Midfond 2006, 1st acepigeon Oldbirdraces 2006 and 1st acepigeon Young 2006.
Which pigeons made that happen? Except from these amazing Janssen pigeons, brothers and sisters of the 1st national Orleans (Ad Schaerlaeckens), the line of the Golden Mealy (mainly Smeulders) and a daughter of National King x Natascha, were the golden injection for Siebren’s winning strain.
National King was the winner of the 1st nat. Bordeaux and 1st nat. München at the lofts of the famous Brouwers-Kodama, while Natascha (a hen from the famous Klak) was among the Olympiad team and won a 1st Orleans against 2509 pigeons.
Last but not least, there were some descendants of the pure Van Loons through Henk Bussing of Ede, which were a powerful injection for the new strain. As you can see, a foundation based upon marvellous ace pigeons and top racers, with a high natural healthstatus.
